Central Ubud is about 20 minutes drive away, a bit more if there is traffic. For us this is ideal, as Ubud is increasingly hot and traffic filled, and so visiting for a day, and then coming back to the peace, tranquility and cooler temperatures of Villa Kalisha is a joy (Villa Kalisha is at a much higher altitude, and so at a noticeably lower temperature (typically 24 to 25 degrees C).

Absolutely not! We sit in splendid isolation in our wonderful location, with no neighbours at all. Closest neighbour is back on the road, and they cannot even see Villa Kalisha.

Unfortunately not. Access to the villa requires is by about 20 to 25 downward steps, and there are a further 30 or so steps between the ground floor and the floor above where the TV lounge and Upstairs bedroom are located.

Villa Kalisha is located in a tropical jungle, so if your are the sort of person that runs screaming from the room when you see a spider or a large bug then Villa Kalisha is probably not fo you. Having said that our cooler temperatures mean that there are actually fewer mosquitoes at Villa Kalisha than in locations such as Seminyak, Canggu and Ubud and also I personally love to sit on the terrace with a beer and watch the fireflies, butterflies and occasional monkey in the trees around the villa.

• Late Check Out Fee; For guaranteed Late Check Out to 3pm we charge 25% of the rental rate; to 5pm 50% of the rental rate; 7pm 75% of rental rate, and 100% for any checkout after 7pm

  We accept payment using a credit card or debit card through the international card processor WorldPay. All payments will however be made in GBP and there is a card processing fee of 3% for MasterCard/Visa and all debit cards, and 3.5% for American Express.
  
  We are also able to accept payment by PayPal, but the processing fee is 5.4%
